DYING LIGHT PREVIEW

If you, like us, is a fan of zombie games and the survival horror genre, certainly have heard of a new game that will come out in 2015 called Dying Light. The game is in the final stage of production by Warner and if you have not heard about it, read this entire post, because we will bring some interesting information about the title. The game will feature a new atmosphere with regard to the zombie apocalypse universes.

HISTORY
The player will assume the role of Kyle Crane. He is an agent who was sent to a quarantine zone in a city infested with zombies. Check out the latest trailer released (in which you can see a little bit about the plot of the game):

GRAPHICS
The graphic quality seen in Dying Light is extremely detailed! Dying Light is the first game supported by Chrome Engine 6. This is a very modern engine which was developed from zero only and exclusively for the consoles of new generation.

Initially the game was announced for the PS3 and X360, but the adoption of this graphics engine possibly hindered the launch to the previous generation which led to the cancellation of the game for these consoles.

GAMEPLAY
Dying Light in the drive is too loose and free! Clearly realize the use of parkour elements, with which the character can take to get rid of the threats and get travel a greater distance in less time. You can use the zombies themselves as objects to jump over cars and buses.

As it is a game in first person, the action it is very different from other zombie games like Resident Evil. It is noticeable the high mobility of the character. Check out the video below:

FIGHTING
Based on the information and videos that have been published in Dying Light combat takes place in hand-to-hand! (But you can also use firearms, but they are scarce). Can you imagine leaving in hand with zombies? From what we can see the main weapons are those of hand as bats, feet-crowbar and clubs! This makes it much more difficult experience.

As we saw in The Last Of Us in Dying Light will be able to customize weapons to fend off zombies. In other words, you can literally create your own weapon using a wrench wrapped in barbed wire for example. As in The Last Of Us weapons have some resistance, but end up destroying with overuse.

In this new zombie apocalypse game the player must more than ever take very smart strategies! During the day, the zombies are slow and quiet and that's when the players go out in search of supplies and weapons into a gigantic urban environment which was taken by a epidemia.FINAL_night-610x343

During the night, there is a twist. The zombies become more aggressive and fast! This makes the experience of playing at night much more challenging! We think that this change in behavior of the enemies can it is a feature of the game of the virus: By day are calmer and night more aggressive and angry! Check out the comparison below!

DYING LIGHT

Release
After being delayed a few times, Dying Light has scheduled release date to 27/01/15 and promises to innovate in the midst of horror and survival horror games. The game will only leave for the PS4, PC and Xbox One.

CONCLUSION
Dying Light is a game that is being highly anticipated because of all the excitement that promises! Its graphics appear to be fantastic and the innovation brought to the loose gameplay and lack of firearms brings something else to the game! Unfortunately the game will not go out to the islands of the previous generation and it can barely be seen by fans as the games that are (in theory) competitors will leave or have left for PS3 and X360 (Resident Evil Revelations 2, Resident Evil Remake, The Evil Within among others).
